Kunuwanimano Child & Family Services (KCFS) is an Indigenous child and family well-being agency that has been serving Indigenous children and families of Northeastern Ontario since its founding in 1989. The organization’s name, Kunuwanimano, translates to “Keeping Our Own,” reflecting the deep commitment to ensuring Indigenous families remain connected to community, culture and traditions.
